Polish up in silver girls!

This colour has been dangerously chic this season! For this spring-summer 2013 we have noticed many colours in terms of nail polish, however, amongst the most 'IN' colours there was Silver. We noticed plenty of glamorous metallic varnishes and silver manicures that added the perfect pop of sparkle and impact.

Questo colore è stato pericolosamente chic in questa stagione! Per questa primavera-estate 2013 abbiamo notato molti colori in fatto di smalto, tutttavia, tra i colori più "IN" c'era l'Argento. Abbiamo notato un sacco di vernici metalliche ricche di stile e manicure argento che aggiungevano un tocco perfetto di brillantezza e impatto.

I personally find silver nail polish "très chic"! Long as well short nails look amazing in silver! With this colour your hand will look shiny and clean, and you will look really fashionable!!! 

Personalmente trovo lo smalto color argento "très chic"! Sia le unghie lunghe come quelle corte sono bellissime in argento! Con questo colore la vostra mano apparirà lucida e pulita, e voi sembrererte davvero alla moda!

When I talk about me, I always put a bit of him. For what I am, I owe it to you too.
I always try to be remembered as a sweet thought to keep, I always try to leave a sweet image of me. 
I believe I want to do something good in my life. 
I hope that people will be proud of me one day, and if this will not happen, I hope to be at least enough proud of myself.

Quando parlo di me, ci metto sempre un pò di lui. Quella che sono, lo devo anche a te.
Cerco sempre di farmi ricordare come un dolce pensiero da custodire, cerco sempre di lasciare un'immagine dolce di me.

And who is the designer?
It comes to an incredibly talented lady whose real name is Nicole Miller. However, being this name already "in use" by a well-known American fashion designer, Adriano Diamante is the name that this beautiful and extraordinarily creative woman (in the picture above to the right) has decided to use for her outstanding sparkling shoe line, made possible thanks to a collaboration with Swarovski.
E chi è il/la designer? Si tratta di una donna di grande talento il cui vero nome è Nicole Miller. Tuttavia, essendo questo nome già "in uso" da una nota designer americana, Adriano Diamante è il nome che questa donna bella e straordinariamente creativa (nella foto sopra a destra) ha deciso di utilizzare per la sua linea di scarpe eccezionale e scintillante, resa possibile grazie alla collaborazione con Swarovski. 

After her first model "British Beauty" created in April 2011 ( see the picture below), Nicole kept on sketching new shoe designs and, after finding a team able to materialise her crystal sketches, in October 2011 she finally gave birth to her brand. 
Dopo il suo primo modello "Bellezza Britannica" creato nel mese di Aprile del 2011 (vedi l'immagine qui sotto), Nicole ha continuato a disegnare nuovi modelli di scarpe e, dopo aver trovato una squadra in grado di materializzare i suoi disegni di cristallo, nel mese di Ottobre del 2011 ha finalmente dato alla luce il suo marchio. 

Her crystal shoe designs are wonderful and very colourful; indeed Nicole makes use of all the available Swarovski coloured stones existing. Have a look at some of her beautiful creations!

I suoi modelli di scarpe di cristallo sono meravigliosi e molto colorati, anzi Nicole si avvale di tutte le disponibili pietre colorate esistenti di Swarovski. Dai uno sguardo ad alcune delle sue bellissime creazioni! 

Yes, it is true! Adriano Diamante only borned in 2011. Nevertheless, this emerging brand has great potential. Nicole's designing capability has resulted in stunning shoes embellished with Swarovski elements which are perfect for special events and occasions, including weddings. Adriano Diamante, in fact, specialises in bridal couture. As an example, the picture below shows Nicole's first wedding piece called "the one": gorgeous!

Sì, è vero! Adriano Diamante è nato solo nel 2011. Tuttavia, questo marchio emergente ha un grande potenziale. La capacità di progettazione di Nicole ha portato a splendide scarpe impreziosite con elementi Swarovski che sono l'ideale per eventi e occasioni speciali, come i matrimoni. Adriano Diamante, infatti, si specializza in alta moda per la sposa. A titolo di esempio, l'immagine seguente mostra il primo pezzo da matrimonio di Nicole chiamato "the one": stupendo!

Increasingly more people want to look chic and at their best while on the workplace.
Fortunately, many are the choices that current trends offer to dress chic at work. The good aspect of having many possibilities from which to choose, is that you will certainly find the option that you will like and that might suit you the most. Check them out!


1. THE CHIC AND COMFORTABLE HAREM PANTS

Loose-fitting, sportswear-inspired pants offer a great comfort in the office which is the best part: after a long day at work, they are so comfortable that  you will not even want to change into sweats! I personally love this look and would highly recommend it because it is loose an yet at the same time if matched with the right tops, shoes and accessories it will allow you to maintain your femininity. Probably my #1 favourite! 

2. THE HIGH WASTE PANTS

These menswear-inspired pants are a really sophisticated and sexy form of trousers. They can be perfectly combined with tops and blouses. I adore this really 70's look! Above all, I like the fitting, particularly because it helps giving the illusion of a slender stomach and a petite waist! 

3. THE PENCIL SKIRT

Named for its shape: long and slim like a pencil, this slim-fitting skirt can be worn either as a separate part of clothing or as part of a suit. The piece of clothing introduced in 1940's by the French designer Christian Dior, has become very famous particularly for office wear. 

I think every woman should have a pencil skirt in her wardrobe due to its versatility. Generally just below the knee (but there are also shorter models) it suits basically every woman's body shape. I like this type of skirt since wether is black or coloured, longer or shorter, every single woman looks gorgeous while wearing it! Have a look!

               

4. THE FEMININE DRESS

Similarly to the pencil skirt this type of office wear is tailored to be tight for a close fit. I am not talking about the same sexy tight dress that many of us girls use to go to pubs and night clubs, which sometimes, (let's admit it) are a little bit too short. I am referring to a daily dress - a bit longer and usually monochrome - that sometimes can also have a pattern on it which, with a pair of nice shoes (usually low heels) and a nice jacket, allows many women to quickly and easily get dressed and be ready to go to work. Additionally, there is no doubt that this is probably the most feminine and chic office wear. A "must" in my opinion is the LBD  (Little Black Dress) due to its handiness in being matched with coloured or patterned clothing and accessories.

4. THE SUIT OR "TAILLEUR".

This is another "must" clothing in a woman's closet, particularly with regard to a black tailleur. No matter what the current trends, the professional suit (tailleur in French) is always in style! Wearing a suit - regardless of the colour, size, shape, fabric - is always a very smart choice: you can never go wrong!

Since women entered the workforce in 1960's trends in women's business suits haven't change much over time, on the contrary, styles have been recycled thereby with the help of a seamstress, old suits can be put in better shape just through small alterations.

'Back to Black, Back to Chic!'

One of 2013's hottest trend is the black-and-white-striped clothes! The proliferation of "prisoner's look' is all-over! And we have got to thank Marc Jacobs and Moschino - among others - for the takeover of this two-tone fashion!

It had initially been felt like a blast from the past as a spectrum of the 1960s.

Whether horizontal or vertical, whether the predominant colour is black or white, it does not matter. The substantial fact is that stylists, celebrities, fashionistas and regular people on the streets have all taken part in bringing this trend back to life in today's world. After seasons of colour-blocking the world came back to black and white! And this trend is reflected on a lot of fashion items, including bags, shoes, coats, bikinis, frames, tables, cardigans and much more.

 And of course shoes! Nowadays striped shoes are super chic!

The good aspect is that I love stripes, and particularly black and white! And it is fair admitting that the motto of this spring season is likely to be: 'Keep it black, white and chic!'

With the Moschino campaign, Miranda Kerr (australian Victoria's Secret supermodel) has been seen as the promoter of the black-and-white pattern.

Additionally, it jumps out at you how this lovely supermodel keeps up with the trend not just on the set of the photo shoot but also in real life. I really love the tight sexy dress she is wearing in the picture below (to the left) , but above all the fact that she also dressed her child with this latest spring-summer trend (in the picture at the top to the right): that black-and-white-striped shirt is adorable! .

 Lastly, amongst celebrities many are in step with this overwhelming 2013 fashion trend!
